It’s been a busy early autumn; here’s what’s happening at Naested Studio

Update on Jesper: we found a place that is comfortable and taking good care of him. It’s been a traumatic transition in our 53 years of marriage. He’s comfortable and the staff have been really helpful with this permanent transition into homecare.

Irene has been working on a revised edition of her book, Light as it Falls. She’s been busy retouching the original images. Highlighting blacks and whites in the images has kept her mind and hands working hard! She’s added a new subtitle to the second edition of the book focused on dance. Her research into the subject of dance has led to many interesting discoveries about the purpose and meaning of dancing in our lives, which include lights and darks, whites and blacks, contrast and benefitting from the light as it falls. When the days get shorter, we have a tendencies to curl up and want to do nothing. We must instead dance in the falling light and enjoy the falling light!

Here are two of the images she’s worked on so far for the new edition of the book.
