Good day, we are hosting the fifth annual Passport to the Arts in the Garden Show & Sale,
to be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 10:00-4:00
at Naested Studio and Garden, 1124- 15th Street N. W. Calgary.
There will be 19 visual artists and authors exhibiting and selling their work. The musical group “The Fragments” will be playing from 12:00 – 2:00 on the main deck. From 2:00 – 4:00 several musicians will be highlighted and poets and authors will do a short reading of their work.
The majority of the artists and authors from last year will be returning again for this year’s show and sale. Alisha Alibhai (art of essential oils), Krista Anger (jeweler), Beth Everest (silver jeweler & poet), Stephanie Hrehirchuck (author), Sharon London (hand-made cards), Joanne Morcom (poet), Irene Naested (painter & author), David Peyto (author and walking tour books), Connie Ptasinski (painter), Donna Russell (fabric artist), Valerie Walker (author), Tammy Watt (painter).
New this year will be Jeweliyanna Reese (fused glass work), Connie Pike (ceramics/pottery) Gordon Pengilly (sculptor), Cassandra Arnold (painter), Elena Ohama (soul artist) Bob Pike (metal sculptor), and Josephine LoRe (poet).
Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Gate and Passport prizes are awarded.
