Ashley J.J. White is a Calgary, Canada-based arts advocate, community builder, and writer of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. Her work has been published in Shadow and Sax, After Dinner Conversation, Paddler Press, and more. She loves to read and write about social issues, philosophy, and relationships, and is deeply inspired by the natural world. She advocates for her fellow writers through her job at the Writers’ Guild of Alberta, and when she’s not writing or community organizing, she’s bouncing around at concerts, smelling flowers, and jumping into rivers and lakes, no matter how cold.
